Showcasing the contemporary works of emerging artists from around the world, Hotel Des Art provides an environment in which people can experience art in a new and more immediate way. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s French Quarter, at the crossroads of Union Square, the Financial District and right next to the great gates of Chinatown, Hotel Des Arts is perfectly situated for business or leisure. Leisure travelers will enjoy main shopping areas, an excellent variety and selection of restaurants, amazing art galleries, museums, parks, public transportation (like the Cable Car!), all within walking distance. Business travelers will appreciate the proximity to the majority of the convention centers, such as The Moscone Center. The result is neither a simple hotel nor art as decoration. It is an interactive experience in one of the most exclusive locations of San Francisco. Welcome to Hotel Des Arts!

Great

Chinatown was right there and I wasn’t far from my bus station nor anywhere I really needed to go.

Great time here. Short walking distance to Chinatown and a nice hike to Pier 39.

Quirky hotel with lots of funky, fun art. A bit outdated but very clean and helpful, friendly staff.

Unique rooms and a great location for local food and drinks!

Perfect room to stay in for checking out the area. Great location for trying local eats and drinks. Close walk to China Town and North Beach. And a parking garage about a block away. It was a great time!
